ABOUT US

“Osaka University Institute for Sports and Global Health (OuiSH)” was established in 2024 under the OU Master Plan 2027, with approval from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. OuiSH aims to promote new education, research, and social contribution activities in “health,” “sports medical science,” and “global health,” uniting researchers across departments. It provides a platform for lifelong learning about health through sports and physical activity, contributing to global well-being. Through collaboration with various stakeholders, Osaka University seeks to advance research, solve health risks, and enhance the value of sports.
