Division of Global Strategy Promotion

Divisional Director NAKATANI Daisaku
The Global Strategy Promotion Department aggregates health check-up data, health risk data (such as chemical exposure), physical activity, and sports data, and integrates them into the Student Life-Cycle Support (SLiCS) system and Osaka University ID (OUID). We are creating a system to analyze the data and promote the implementation of research and educational outcomes in collaboration with companies and local governments. Additionally, we aim to promote global expansion by collaborating with overseas research institutions and international organizations.
Division of Health and Sports Literacy

Divisional Director SHIMEGI Satoshi
The Health and Sports Literacy Division aims to transform health and sports science education through digital transformation (DX) and the application of research-based evidence, offering comprehensive education to undergraduate and graduate students (including working students). The division provides essential knowledge tailored to each life stage, from admission to post-graduation, while enhancing graduate education and developing cutting-edge educational content. Additionally, through personalized physical activity programs, nutrition education, lifestyle guidance, and health promotion support, it seeks to promote both physical and mental well-being in the era of 100-year lifespans and to develop individuals capable of addressing societal challenges.
Division of Health Sports Science

Divisional Director ADACHI Hiroyoshi
In the Health Sports Science Division, we will work to consolidate health-related data that has been handled independently by various organizations up to now, and will build a digital twin that includes health, physical activity, and safety management using aggregated data. We will conduct health and sports science research using digital twins, and promote the creation of new comprehensive knowledge by making use of interdisciplinary approaches. Our ultimate mission is to contribute to the realization of people’s well-being.
